Stephen Zipperer will lead a field trip around Old Hickory Lake on Saturday, 19 September 2015. Anyone interested in birding is welcome to participate and should be at Shutes Branch Access/Recreation Area by 7:30 AM Saturday morning.

Other stops will likely include Cedar Creek Recreation Area (if they don’t require a fee to enter), Lone Branch Access, Davis Corner Access, Laguardo Recreation Area, Tyree Access and maybe a few other spots along the way as time permits. The caravan will then travel back to Cedars of Lebanon State Park for the John W. Sellars Chapter Bird Club meeting at 10:30 AM (in the Nature Center). You do not have to attend the meeting to participate in the field trip, but we hope you will.
