Field Trip, Chapter Meeting & A Century of Birds Film – 20 February 2016

The next meeting of the John W. Sellars Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society will be Saturday, 20 February 2016 at 10:30 AM in the Dixon Merritt Nature Center [Google Map] in Cedars of Lebanon State Park. We will be watching Danny Shelton’s film A Century of Birds: The Tennessee Ornithological Society.

map_lhspBut, before the meeting, we will take a stroll around Couchville Lake at Long Hunter State Park, located at 2910 Hobson Pike, Nashville, TN 37076. Meet at 7:30 AM by the kiosk in Area 2 beside Couchville Lake. [ Google Map ]. Bring your binoculars and dress appropriately. We will wrap up the bird walk by 9:3o in time to travel to Cedars of Lebanon State Park for our meeting, film and chat session. Please join us if you can make it.

You do not have to be a member to attend this meeting or any of our field trips. Bring a sack lunch for after the meeting, and find out what everyone is seeing at their favorite birding spots.
