Tis the season to… count birds.
The Audubon Christmas Bird Count is an annual Citizen Science tradition, and your participation is vital. If you are available on Saturday, 17 December 2022, and would like to participate, please be at the Cedars of Lebanon State Park Nature Center parking lot at 7 AM
Join us for a couple hours or all day in Wilson County. The more eyes we provide, the more birds we count.

From December 14 through January 5 each year, tens of thousands of volunteers throughout the Americas take part in an adventure that has become a family tradition among generations. Families and students, birders and scientists, armed with binoculars, bird guides and checklists go out on an annual mission – often before dawn. For over one hundred and thirteen years, the desire to both make a difference and to experience the beauty of nature has driven dedicated people to go out and count birds on the annual Christmas Bird Count.
