Gateway Island & Stones River National Battlefield Field Trip – Saturday, 19 November 2022

Let’s go birding!

The John W Sellars Chapter of TOS will be birding on Saturday, 19 November 2022, in Murfreesboro, and invite all who are interested to join us. We will be birding the Stones River National Battlefield Field, and later around Gateway Island. Both destinations have wide, paved trails, are wheelchair accessible, and are easily traversed on foot. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes or boots, and of course, dress for the weather.

Meet at 9:00 am at the Stones River National Battlefield Park Visitors Center off of the Old Nashville Highway.  There are bathrooms available inside the visitor center building.

As always, there is no charge to participate in this field trip nor any other outing or field trip we may take. Just show up at the appointed time and location, and enjoy a frosty morning of fantastic feathered friends. If you have binoculars, a scope, or a camera, bring it.
