The John W. Sellars – Lebanon Chapter of TOS will be birding on Saturday, 21 May 2022 in and around Cedars of Lebanon State Park. We might also shuttle or carpool to see some of Wilson County’s birding hotspots nearby. We hope to see many spring migrants, and with luck, we could see grasshopper sparrow, lark sparrow, dickcissel and more. Be at the Nature Center parking lot no later than 7:30 AM to join in on the early morning birding action.
Bring binoculars, and a scope if you have one. And if you bring your lunch, we’ll find an empty shelter or shady spot after we bird and make plans for some summer birding field trips. Be thinking of some places you’d like to bird here in middle Tennessee.
The plan is to bird until 11:00 AM or so, then grab a bite to eat.
Everyone is welcome. You do not have to be a member to participate in the birding or lunch (but you must bring your own lunch).
We look forward to seeing you Saturday morning, 21 May 2022, for some fun birding in the park. Join us if you can, and bring a friend.
