LBC Birding, Meeting & Program – Saturday, 21 September 2019

On Saturday, 21 September 2019 the Lebanon Birding Club will do some early morning birding followed by a brief meeting and a short program on identifying five more fall warblers.

At 7:00 a.m. we will meet in the parking lot in front of the Nature Center at Cedars of Lebanon State Park, consolidate into a few vehicles, and head out in search of fall migrants and anything else with wings. Bring binoculars, something to drink, and dress for the weather. Our destination is the Central Valley Road trailhead on the North Murfreesboro Greenway. If you would prefer to drive to the trailhead yourself, you should arrive before 7:30 a.m. Here is the Google map: https://goo.gl/maps/qjThpKFmuZXwvkuT6

At 10:00 a.m. we will migrate toward WPA Cabin 13 at Cedars of Lebanon State Park for a brief planning meeting for the upcoming Big Sit on October 12, and we will review five more fall warblers.

Finally, if you will bring your lunch, we’ll hang around the cabin, eat lunch and talk about birds and birding.

As always, you do not have to be a member of our association to attend our meetings or our field trips. Everyone is welcome. We hope to see you Saturday, September 21 at 7:00 and/or 10:00 a.m. at Cedars of Lebanon State Park.
