The Lebanon Birding Club, a.k.a. John W Sellars Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society, meets again at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, 17 March 2018 in Cabin 13 at Cedars of Lebanon State Park.
The program will be on Landscaping For Birds & Other Wildlife and will be presented by our very own Linda Robertson. Linda is a local Tennessee Extension Master Gardener and is responsible for establishing and maintaining the Native Plant & Butterfly Garden at Cedars of Lebanon State Park.
As always, anyone and everyone interested in birding (or gardening for birds) is invited and welcome to attend our meeting. There is never any pressure to join our organization, but we hope you find something you like and will return.
Cabin 13 is centrally located in the park, but easily overlooked. Once you enter the park continue on past the Park Office (on your right after you enter the park) until you come to a fork in the road. Turn right onto WPA Road and continue on past the old rock Cedar Lodge (also on your right). After crossing two speed bumps on WPA Road, look for the shaded playground on your left. Turn left onto the gravel drive next to the shaded playground, and Cabin 13 will be the first cabin on your right.
We hope to see you Saturday, 17 March 2018.
