On Saturday, 9 April 2016 at 7:30 AM meet Melissa Turrentine at the Nature Center in Cedars of Lebanon State Park for a birding expedition around the park. Then at 9:00 AM meet her in front of the Park Office building where she will lead a hike in search of spring ephemeral wildflowers.
The bird walk and wildflower hike are open to anyone and everyone. Bring binoculars if you have them and water to drink. Wear comfortable shoes appropriate for a walk in the woods, and dress according to the weather.

The next meeting of the John W. Sellars – Lebanon Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society will be:
Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us for the birding expedition to the cedar glades. You do not have to stick around for the meeting or program to participate in the outing, but we hope you will. If you do plan to come to the program, bring a sack lunch for afterward, and find out what everyone is seeing at their favorite birding spots. See you on the 16th of April.
