Cedars of Lebanon State Park – Saturday, 16 September 2023

birdwatching-04The John W. Sellars – Lebanon Chapter of TOS will be birding on Saturday, 16 September 2023 in and around Cedars of Lebanon State Park. We hope to see some early fall migrants. Be at the Nature Center parking lot no later than 8:00 AM to join in on the early morning birding action.

warbler-24915111Bring binoculars, and a scope if you have one. And if you bring your lunch, we’ll find an empty shelter or shady spot after we bird and make plans for fall and winter outings. Be thinking of some places you’d like to bird here in middle Tennessee.

Everyone is welcome. You do not have to be a member to participate in the birding or lunch (but you must bring your own lunch).

We look forward to seeing you Saturday morning, 16 September 2023, for some fun birding in the park. Join us if you can, and bring a friend.

Discovery Center at Murfree Spring – Saturday, 19 August 2023

Let’s go birding!

The John W Sellars Chapter of TOS will be birding on Saturday, 19 August 2023, in and around Murfreesboro, Tennessee. We invite all who are interested to join us.

Meet at 8:00 am at the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring in downtown Murfreesboro. The address is 502 SE Broad St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130. And here is the Google map:

As always, there is no charge to participate in this field trip nor any other outing or field trip we may take. Just show up at the appointed time and location, and enjoy a morning of fantastic feathered fauna with friends. If you have binoculars, a scope, or a camera, bring it.
