In lieu of a meeting, on Saturday, 17 September 2016 the Lebanon Birding Club will venture to Bledsoe Creek State Park in Sumner County near Gallatin for a some early morning, late summer birding. Afterward, we will head to Gallatin for lunch and to talk birds.
Stephen Zipperer will lead a field trip to Bledsoe Creek State Park located at 400 Zieglers Fort Road, Gallatin, TN 37066. Anyone and everyone interested in birding is welcome to join us on our field trip.
We will meet at the Visitors Center in the Park at 7:00 AM. They have an observation deck with good views of the tailwaters of Beldsoe Creek & Old Hickory Lake. There are also numerous trails throughout this small park, some of them paved, where you’ll find warblers and lots of other song birds and wildlife.
