Field Trip to Crooked Branch Park – Saturday, 17 February 2018

Crooked Branch Park near Old Hickory Lake in Davidson County, Tennessee is the destination of the Lebanon Birding Club’s next field trip. Join us for some winter birding fun on Saturday, 17 February 2018.

Crooked Branch Park is located at 116D Ray Avenue, Lakewood, TN 37138. Click the image at left for the Google map of the park.

We will meet in the Nature Center parking lot at Cedars of Lebanon State Park at 7:00 AM then carpool or caravan to Crooked Branch Park to look for ducks, geese, sparrows and whatever else we can find. We’ll also stop at Snow Bunting Peninsula on Old Hickory Lake and scope the Old Hickory Dam area. There are plenty of places to grab lunch if the group wants to, then make a few stops in Sumner County before heading back. Please complete the sign up form by clicking the link below if you plan to join us on this field trip.

As always, our field trips are free and open to anyone interested in birding. Bring binoculars, and dress for the weather.
