The Lebanon Birding Club will meet in Cabin 13 at Cedars of Lebanon State Park on Saturday, 16 September 2017. Our very own Amy and Bob Swanson will be the guest speakers and will tell us about their time volunteering at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in southern New Mexico.
Other items on the docket include the first of two birding and nature book auctions this fall, and a discussion about the focus and direction of the club. Please think about some of the events or activities you would like to see the club participate in. Is there a field trip or birding site you would like to visit with the club? Can you think of a birding or conservation project you would like the club to work on? Is there a particular speaker or topic you would like to hear at a future meeting? What birding subject would you like to know more about? Perhaps you would like to work on some area of birding identification? If you have any ideas for these or other questions, jot them down and bring them to the next meeting. We might not be able to get to all of them at one meeting, but we can talk about one or two ideas each meeting and perhaps work on those things. We want to hear from all of you.
Our meeting begins at 10:30 AM in Cabin 13 at Cedars of Lebanon State Park, and the program starts at 11:00. As always, our meetings, field trips and activities are open to anyone and everyone. You don’t have to be a member and you will not be asked to join. Our goal is for you to want to join our group, so come check us out.
We hope to see you there.
