• 7 May 2026 Thursday – Shelby Bottoms Evening Walk. 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Shelby Bottoms Park – Phase 3/Forrest Green Trailhead. (Parking lot coordinates: 36.19728, -86.70295). Each evening’s walk will begin at 5:00 pm. We will walk along a flat, paved trail that allows for easy birding. Nashville TOS event. Everyone welcome.
• 9 May 2026 Saturday – Sharp Springs Park. Time: 7:45 AM until approximately 9:30 AM. Address: 311 Jefferson Pike Smyrna, TN 37167 Leader: Jeff Steele. Restrooms and water available. Parking ample. Meet by restrooms. Special note, it is necessary to wear mosquito repellent at this location. Jeff will also include an education topic on this walk focusing on “Signs”. This is a Boro Birders event. • 11 May 2026 Monday – Bird Ed Educational Event. Time 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Address: Technology Engagement Center 306 Minerva Drive Murfreesboro, TN 37130. Speaker: Kim McCollom. Topic: Bird Photography. Kim has many years experience as a wildlife photographer. She has traveled internationally documenting birds in their native habitats. This is a Boro Birders event.
