23 April 2026 Thursday – 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Shelby Bottoms Evening Walk. Shelby Bottoms Park – Phase 3/Forrest Green Trailhead. (Parking lot coordinates: 36.19728, -86.70295). Each evening’s walk will begin at 5:00 pm. We will walk along a flat, paved trail that allows for easy birding. Nashville TOS event. Everyone welcome.
24 April 2026 Friday – Stones River National Battlefield. Time: approximately 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM. Leader: Avery Fish. Address: 3501 Old Nashville Hwy Murfreesboro, TN 37129. Restrooms and water available. Parking ample. Meet by picnic area. This is a Boro Birders event. Everyone welcome.
25 April 2026 Saturday – Cedar Creek Greenway Trailhead. Meet-up Time: 7:45 AM at the picnic tables just off the trailhead parking lot. The walk will begin at 8:00 AM sharp. Parking can be tight but there are a couple of alternative parking areas within a short walking distance. Do not park at the high school. Parking at the station/mart is allowed. There are no restrooms or water at the trail. There is however a fuel/market across the road about 400 feet from the trailhead. Cedar Creek Greenway is mostly a flat paved trail and ADA. This is an out-and-back. Approximately 2.2 miles. Estimated to take 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. Sunscreen, bug spray, water and binoculars are suggested. NOTE: Possible T-storms on Saturday.
